Public API

fqps.co.uk publishes a few read-only feeds for developers, search engines and AI agents. They need no key, sign-in or cookie. Every response carries a Cache-Control header: please honour it.

/openapi.json: The OpenAPI 3.1 description of every endpoint below.
/llms.txt: A plain-text guide to the website for language models.

MCP server

The same data, as tools for AI agents, on a Model Context Protocol server: https://fqps.co.uk/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP, is stateless and read-only, and needs no auth. Tools: get_sqe_exam_dates, list_courses, list_free_guides and search_articles. Server Card: /mcp/server-card (also at /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json in the earlier layout).

In a browser, every fqps.co.uk page registers the same tools through WebMCP, plus open_page, which opens one of our pages in the tab.

A2A agent

The same data for other agents that talk in messages (Agent2Agent protocol, versions 1.0 and 0.3): https://fqps.co.uk/api/a2a. It speaks JSON-RPC, answers every message at once and needs no auth. Send a question as text, or a data part such as {"skill": "list_courses", "exam": "sqe1"}. Each reply holds a plain-text answer and the same result as JSON. Agent Card: /.well-known/agent-card.json.

Product feed (TSV)
GET /feeds/chatgpt-products.tsv

FQPS Academy SQE preparation plans and services, one row per product after a header row, each with the price shown on its landing page on fqps.co.uk.
Returns text/tab-separated-values. Changes only when the catalogue does. Cache for up to an hour.

The same rows as the TSV product feed, as RFC 4180 CSV.

Article search
GET /api/search

Searches the FQPS Academy blog: articles whose title, summary or author contain every word of q, newest first, each with its title, summary, date, author and URL. The same results as the search page.
Query: q (required): The words to search for., limit (optional): How many articles to return.
Returns application/json. Cache for up to five minutes.

Blog feed (RSS 2.0)
GET /blog/rss.xml

The 50 most recent posts on the FQPS Academy blog, newest first, with title, link, date and summary.
Returns application/rss+xml. Rebuilt at most once an hour.

Health check
GET /api/health

Answers 200 with the text "ok" while the site is serving requests.
Returns text/plain. Live. Never cached.

Not covered

Student accounts, study progress and purchases live on the learning platform at prep.fqps.co.uk, which needs a signed-in account and has no public API. The forms on this website are for people: they are protected by reCAPTCHA and are not part of the API.
