Assessment Specifications:

• Current assessment specifications (applicable up to September 2023) can be found. You can learn more about the SQE1 and SQE2 assessments, including their construction and the topics you will be tested on.
• The SQE1 assessment specification can be accessed for more detailed information.
• The SQE2 assessment specification is available for further understanding of the assessment structure.
• Assessment specifications from September 2023 have been published. These updated specifications include the Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) for SQE1 and SQE2. The updated FLK will be applicable to SQE assessments starting from 1 September 2023, beginning with the SQE2 assessment in October 2023.
