UoL SQE Prep is exceptionally demanding and requires significant mental preparation. Many student have found the pace challenging to maintain.
This is because UoL expects you to possess a solid understanding of 'Black-Letter Law' from your undergraduate studies. UoL SQE prep does not cover Black Letter Law, although it is part of the SRA Syllabus.
SQE1: The course requires around 50 hours per week dedicated to revising the law only. This does not account for additional time needed to review undergraduate notes and readings. The intense schedule forces rapid memorisation without ample opportunity to comprehend the underlying principles and their applications.
SQE2: UoL does not offer feedback for SQE2, and the course is on a "Self-Practice" basis. You will only have one Oral Mock with feedback. None of your written assessments will be reviewed by a tutor, which may hinder your ability to progress effectively.
