Where can I download the FQPS SQE preparation app?
Download the FQPS app for Android phones and tablets from Google Play using the buttons on this page. Look for “SQE Prep: SQE1 & SQE2 - FQPS”, published by FQPS ACADEMY LTD.
Is the SQE app free to download?
Yes. The app is free to download and offers in-app purchases. A free account includes two full SQE1 mocks (one FLK1 and one FLK2), 5 daily practice questions, 10 daily flashcards, a sample syllabus and a seven-day study plan. Full course access and some features require a paid plan.
Can I prepare for SQE1 using the mobile app?
Yes. Use the FQPS SQE1 app to revise legal principles, practise single-best-answer MCQs, review flashcards and take FLK1 and FLK2 mock exams. It supports preparation for the Functioning Legal Knowledge assessments. Access to materials and practice modes depends on your plan.
Can I use the app for SQE2 preparation?
Yes. FQPS includes SQE2 oral and written practice. Use it to work on advocacy, client interviewing, case and matter analysis, legal research, legal writing and legal drafting. Access to practice, coaching and feedback depends on your plan; live sessions may need a quiet space and a suitable microphone or camera.
Is FQPS an official SRA app or an SRA-approved provider?
No. FQPS Academy is an independent SQE preparation provider. The app is not an official Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or Kaplan app and is not endorsed by either organisation. The SRA does not approve or endorse SQE training providers. Use the official SQE website for assessment specifications, booking and exam arrangements.
Can I use my existing FQPS account?
Yes. Sign in with the same FQPS account you use on the web. Your study plan, progress and access follow your account, so you can switch between your phone, tablet and computer.
Can I use FQPS on an iPhone or iPad?
The iOS app is coming soon to the Apple App Store. In the meantime, you can use the FQPS learning platform in your browser on an iPhone or iPad. The live download link on this page is for Android on Google Play.
Does the app work on Android tablets?
Yes. You can download FQPS on Android phones and tablets from Google Play. Use the same account across devices to keep your study plan and progress together.
Can an SQE revision app replace a complete preparation course?
An app is a way to access your preparation, not a guarantee of exam readiness. Use short sessions for recall and revision, alongside longer practice sessions, timed mocks and feedback. Choose a plan that gives you the materials and support you need for your SQE1 or SQE2 sitting.
Do I need an internet connection?
Use an internet connection for signing in, accessing course content and syncing your progress. Home-screen widgets can show their last saved information; open the app or refresh when you are connected to get the latest.
