Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our legal team in providing comprehensive support to our solicitors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with legal research, drafting documents, and liaising with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Organise and maintain legal files and documents
- Assist solicitors in preparing for trials and hearings
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other professionals to gather information
- Manage and update databases with case-related information
- Provide administrative support to the legal team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of English law and legal procedures
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
