We are seeking an experienced Court of Protection (deprivation of liberty and welfare) caseworker or paralegal to join our expanding team.
You will be dealing with health and welfare cases in the Court of Protection, supporting qualified fee earners running a caseload of welfare matters, including applications pursuant to s16 and s21A Mental Capacity Act 2005. You will also be dealing with Mental Health law.
This role allows you to be part of a system that safeguards the rights and dignity of vulnerable individuals. Your work will contribute to improving the lives of those who need it most and who are deprived of their liberty.
You should have experience in applications under s21A of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Being a new firm that is quickly expanding, there is room for career progression and flexibility in career paths.
Salary: negotiable depending on experience
Office hours: 9:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Hybrid working pattern.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
