  • Prepare bundles, chronologies and case summaries for appeals, hearings and mediations
  • Draft settlement agreements, consent orders and client documentation
  • Advise employer clients on sponsor licence compliance duties
  • Liaise with the Home Office, HMCTS, counsel and opposing parties
  • Attend hearings with the conducting solicitor or counsel
  • Maintain accurate files and comply with LAA contract and file-review standards

Requirements

  • A law degree (LLB or equivalent) or a degree-level legal qualification

  • Experience in UK immigration and asylum casework; legal aid experience is desirable
  • Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines

Benefits

  • £41,700 per annum, paid monthly by BACS
  • Paid annual leave
  • Workplace pension (auto-enrolment)
  • Supervision and professional development

Pay: £33,600.00-£41,700.00 per year

Will this role count as your QWE, and who will confirm it?

Check it against the SRA’s questions in two minutes. If there is no COLP or solicitor where you work, the SRA lets a solicitor outside confirm it: an FQPS solicitor can, from £149.
