Where WCAN: the Black Women's Network fits into qualifying as a solicitor
Access schemes like this one remove a barrier — funding, a placement, a mentor — but they do not replace the Solicitors Qualifying Examination. You will still need to pass SQE1 and SQE2 and complete two years of qualifying work experience. FQPS Academy exists to keep that second half affordable.
