Starting Salary: £21,575 to £24,054 pa - Pay increase pending
Hours: 37 per week

Job Duties:

We are looking for a new member of the Registration and Citizenship Service Admin Team. The registration and Citizenship Service is responsible for the registration of all Births, Marriages, Civil Partnerships and Deaths occurring within Hertfordshire. The team take calls and emails from the public and will advise and make bookings for people looking to use the service.

In this role you will be part of the Registration Admin team who take 72,000 telephone calls and deal with 50,000 email enquiries per annum for the Registration Service. You will be required to explain clearly and concisely complex rules, regulations and legislative requirements to members of the public.

You will need to be self motivated with an excellent telephone manner and have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Competent IT skills are essential as you will be required to use an electronic booking system and internet based Registration on-line. Experience of using Microsoft Office is essential.
