About the role

Moorside Legal, a key entity within APN Group, is a dynamic new law firm specialising in debt recovery. We are committed to delivering high-quality legal services, and pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. We are seeking a Legal Administrator to assist our dedicated Paralegal team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing general support for the Paralegal team
  • Assisting Paralegals with administrative tasks involved in running their caseload
  • Handling incoming correspondence
  • Liaising with the Court to ensure claims are progressing or to chase updates
  • Raising queries with clients to seek their instructions
  • Bundling witness statements
  • Organising case evidence for the Paralegal to assess
  • Keeping case records up to date
  • Carrying out general administrative duties

About You

Essential:

  • A positive attitude and willingness to help
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills

Desirable:

  • A desire to progress into a Paralegal role
  • Experience working in a law firm using a Case Management System
  • Experience working as an administrator
  • Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bradford
