Wills & Estate legal assistant

Job Description

The Role

You will provide full assistance to support the head of department

  • Using a CRM system to produce correspondence related to private client matters
  • Diary keeping Meeting with clients to witness the execution of client’s wills/documents
  • Drafting basic Wills, LPA’s and court of protection applications
  • Knowledge of IHT forms, Estate Accounts and Grant of probate is desirable
  • Production of attendance notes Set up and administration of trust

Court of Protection/ Deputyship The Candidate

  • Ideally will be an experienced Private Client Legal Assistant
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Experience with case management
  • Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel ,Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills and a sympathetic ear
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
  • Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ipswich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


  • Legal Assistant: 2 years (required)
