Our reputation is important to us and we need a talented paralegal to join our team to help us deliver industry leading service to our clients.

The Role

To ensure we deliver the highest standards of client care we require a paralegal to monitor and liaise with our clients to make sure agreed work is carried out following the settlement of their disrepair claim. It will involve a significant amount of time on the telephone talking to our clients, some of whom are vulnerable go through their case to ensure that the works have been completed to a reasonable standard.

Key tasks (not an exhaustive list)

· To liaise with clients and ensure agreed work is carried out.

· To liaise with landlords regarding the works deadlines

· To arrange post inspection of the property

· To take witness statements where necessary

· To prepare court documents

· Assist solicitors/legal executives to enforce agreements through court proceedings

· Assist solicitors/legal executives to run a case load of housing conditions cases and Environmental Protection Act cases

· Taking instructions from the relevant parties

Personal Skills

· Excellent communication skills and good telephone manner

· Highly organised and self-motivated

· Confident, dynamic and with a desire to succeed

· IT literate


· Some legal experience would be advantageous but is not essential

· A legal qualification is desirable but not essential

· Case Management Systems (Proclaim is used) experience would be advantageous but is not essential


· Salary from 21k dependent on experience

· 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus birthday

· 6% contributory pension
Hybrid working arrangements after completion of probation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £21,000.00 per year
