Job Description

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a paralegal in our legal firm in London & Manchester. A Vincent Solicitors Ltd is a fast-paced legal firm that requires a Paralegal in our legal firm to undertake all general, administrative and legal matters.

The ideal candidate must completed LLB. You must also be fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English and you must have permission to work in the UK. We welcome all graduates from LPC or BPTC.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research on cases and gather pertinent legal information.
  • Interpret laws, rulings and regulations in legal documents.
  • Compile, proofread and edit drafts of contracts, leases, licenses, policies and other legal documents.
  • Monitor, study and develop written summaries of proposed and enacted legislation, regulations, court decisions, industry guidelines, trade journals and other relevant publications.
  • Assist with case preparation including opening and closing arguments and aiding in court motions or pleadings.
  • Daily record keeping with electronic and physical filing of caseloads.
  • Analyse and summarise documents.
  • Assist with the administration and management of workflow.
  • General administrative duties ie. answering correspondence and taking telephone calls.
  • The ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels in both English and Chinese and Cantonese while Mandarin is preferred.
  • Working experience in a fast-paced organisation, as well as teamwork.
  • Attention to detail is necessary.

Salary: starting from £18,000 depends on experience per year
